Jennett Mclane is a highly skilled and accomplished master injector with an extensive background in medical aesthetics. With a career spanning over two decades, she has gained comprehensive expertise in performing a wide range of cosmetic injection procedures. Jennett specializes in administering wrinkle relaxers such as Botox and Jeuveau, filler injections, including renowned brands like Juvéderm and Restylane. Notably, she has the distinction of being amongst the first injectors in Michigan to be trained to provide these services to patients.
Kristen Grubba is an accomplished professional in the field of body contouring, with over 20 years of experience in aesthetics. Since 2012, she has specialized in providing CoolSculpting, CoolSculpting Elite and CoolTone body treatments. In addition to her clinical practice, Kristen also serves as a distinguished faculty trainer since its inception in 2019 at the Allergan Medical Institute, where she shares her extensive knowledge with other providers at the local, regional, and national levels. Her expertise, combined with her passion for training, has made her a respected figure in the industry.
Samantha Follebout is a dedicated skincare professional and certified laser specialist who is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy and radiant skin. She offers a wide range of skin treatments that cater to various skin care needs. For over 24 years, I’ve had the pleasure of managing this practice alongside Dr. Joseph E. Mark, a board-certified plastic surgeon, and a team of exceptional medical professionals. With more than 30 years in the aesthetic and surgical field, I bring extensive experience across plastic surgery, non-surgical treatments, and everything in between.
From dermal fillers and Botox to body contouring, advanced skincare, and overall wellness, we offer only the safest and most effective treatments using FDA-approved products and devices. I truly enjoy guiding patients in making aesthetic choices that match their goals—our beauty toolbox is full of possibilities!

Michael F. Milan, MD
Dr. Michael F. Milan is a board-certified plastic surgeon whose career in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery spanned more than 30 years. Known for his artistry, surgical precision, and patient-centered approach, Dr. Milan built a reputation for creating natural, balanced results while prioritizing safety and education in every aspect of care.
A graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine, Dr. Milan completed his residencies in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery at Indiana University before establishing a thriving private practice in Michigan. Throughout his career, he remained deeply committed to advancing aesthetic medicine through research, clinical trials, and mentorship.
As a Primary Investigator in several national studies with Mentor Corporation, Dr. Milan contributed valuable data on breast implant safety, patient satisfaction, and surgical outcomes. His published work has appeared in leading journals, including the Aesthetic Surgery Journal and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Beyond his surgical expertise, Dr. Milan was a trusted voice in the media and an educator to future generations of plastic surgeons, guiding residents and medical professionals in both the science and art of aesthetic medicine.
Now retired from plastic surgery, Dr. Milan continues to share his expertise and passion with The Spa MD team as medical director and guiding influence. His commitment to integrity, innovation, and patient care remains at the heart of everything we do.

Joseph E. Mark, MD, FACS
Joseph E. Mark, MD, FACS, was a board-certified plastic surgeon with over 30 years of practice in the art of plastic surgery.
At The Spa MD in Rochester Hills, Michigan, he was dedicated to providing the finest quality of medical care in cosmetic surgery.
He was also a member of numerous societies and was on staff at local area hospitals.
Born in New York City, Dr. Mark attended Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and went on to complete a master’s degree at Queens College, City University of New York, in Flushing. He then completed his medical degree at the State University of New York, Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn. This was followed by an internship at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore in Maryland. After completing general surgery residencies at Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn and DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Mark completed his plastic surgery residency at Ascension Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan. During his military service, Dr. Mark was the Assistant Division Surgeon for the 82nd Airborne at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
He also served as president of the Michigan Academy of Plastic Surgeons. He was affiliated with DMC-Huron Valley and Crittenton Hospital in Rochester, Michigan, where he served as vice chief of surgery and chairman of the surgical suite committee.
Dr. Mark was an active member of several medical societies, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Michigan State Medical Society, and American Medical Association. He was a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners.
Having performed well over 25,000 procedures during his career, Dr. Mark believed in creating natural and beautiful results. Well known for his saying, “We don’t operate on body parts; we operate on people,” our patients trust us, and they become family here.
